English for Academic Purposes

This course curriculum and assessment was designed, built and administered by myself, based on years of practical experience and research in Academic English and oral presentation performance.

Introducing an intensive academic English course to students of various proficiencies required careful forethought into how both core and higher level concepts could be introduced, monitored and assessed in a fair and effective way.

By utilizing technology, student progress could be closely monitored and corrective feedback was given in a timely fashion. While scaffolding learning for students gave offered structure, they were also encouraged rto explore and be creative in their second language.
